About the project: While touring the Jim Crow South, an inseparable Black female wrestling duo fight in and out of the ring when unexpected events cause one of their priorities to change.

About the filmmaker: Brittany Clemons is a Brooklyn-based writer, director and producer. Her most recent short film BLIGHT, which explores police brutality and environmental racism through a sci-fi lens, has screened in multiple film festivals, including the American Black Film Festival, Hip Hop Film Festival, The Roxbury International Film Festival, Charlotte Film Festival, Brooklyn Sci-fi Film Festival, and more. Brittany currently works as a development producer at Jigsaw Productions. Prior to development, she contributed to documentary television as a story producer and associate producer. Her work includes Henry Louis Gates, Jr.'s Emmy and Peabody Award-winning PBS series The African Americans: Many Rivers to Cross, and celebrity genealogy series Finding Your Roots, NBC’s documentary special Hope & Fury: MLK, the Movement and the Media, for which she received an Emmy nomination for outstanding research, and AMC’s six-part documentary series Hip Hop: The Songs That Shook America.
