The Project: RAZ is a film about life and loss, set in the home of an Iranian-American family in Los Angeles. On the eve of a wedding, two siblings make the fateful decision to keep news of a tragic death from their ailing mother and pregnant sister.
The Filmmaker: Maryam L’Ange is a writer/director living in New York City. Trained in classical theater and law, she has a penchant for penning female stories and shining a light on underrepresented groups. She has directed short films, music videos and branded content produced by Somesuch, and sold the first original television series she created to HBO. She is developing her debut feature.
