It’s an honor to announce the FOUR new filmmakers who are our Summer 2019 Fund Recipients and are now part of the FOFIF family: Veronica Kedar, Kana Hatakeyama, Laci Dent, and Madeline Mack. With two short films in pre-production and two in post-production, all of them represent unique voices addressing acceptance, crucial relationships, and toxic culture. I couldn’t be more thrilled to support these works!

Sweet Heart is a 16mm short film in post-production, created out of the desire to show a familiar yet un-represented female dilemma familiar; becoming a mother to the child of your partner. It also explores the younger woman in a light that is true to the experience rather than the stigma around daddy issues or worse, a singular money motivation.
